    Do you work?

Yep! I'm self employed. I have a business called Passian Dance Fitness, which I founded in January 2010. I'm also a stylist (mainly photoshoots and sometimes events, if I have the time). I also make handmade crafts and sell them online.

Can I book you in to style my event?

Unfortunately, I rarely have the time to dedicate to styling events. When I do style, it's only ever photoshoots for brands/corporate etc, or upscale events.

Which op shops do you go to?

I have a few that I visit regularly, but they're all good! It's just luck of the draw really. Go and visit your local one regularly, you'll have more of a chance of getting what you're after. Sometimes I'll find an amazing piece, and someone will ask which op shop I went to, as they want to get one too. I'm sorry to break it to you guys, but that's not how it works at op shops! ;)

    Where is this beautiful spot?

That's what this website is for, to show you guys some of my favourite spots. If I don't disclose a location, it's probably one of the handful that we've chosen to keep to ourselves. Sometimes it's because a local has been ever so kind to take us to that spot, under the proviso that we don't go broadcasting it, so we respect that. A lot of time goes into finding some of the out of the way spots that my Husband and I have discovered, and there's a couple that we just need to keep to ourselves. As you can imagine, once I disclose a place it's often hard to get a park the next time we want to go there. So I hope you understand. But generally, I'm more than happy to share the love and disclose locations... I've been brought up to believe there's enough sunshine for everyone! By doing that though, I do get some negativity from those who don't want these places they love so much shared so publicly. Keeping everyone happy is hard! ;)

Where do you buy your home decor?

Antique shops, op shops, Urban Outfitters, West Elm, Pottery Barn, Anthropologie, Domayne, Temple & Webster, Freedom, etc.

    Where do you live?

I don't ever disclose the actual suburb, but we live South of the Gold Coast in Northern NSW.

Help - I need help styling my home. How much do you charge?

Firstly, I'm always flattered by this, it's always lovely to hear!

However, I don't actually do interior styling. I absolutely love styling my own home, but I find it very personal and subjective. It is also an ongoing process and I just collect items as I go.

    FAQ's...

Can you please help me plan my trip to America?

Sure! I'm actually working on a tab now. I get asked about my tips for travelling around the US a lot! I've been there more than 10 times now (and my friends joke around that I should have actually been American! lol). No, but in all seriousness, I'm a very proud Aussie, but America does have a very special place in my heart, and I do feel at home when I go over there. I just feel like my teenage years should've been spent in America. Bake sales, pep rallies, cheerleading, prom queen, halloween, the over the top holidays. Living on campus in college... You get the idea. Hubby and I often talk about moving to America (for a short period, a year or so) and just living life there. My goal is to live in NYC for one whole year! Experience all the seasons, summer in the Hamptons, grocery shopping at Zabar's, walking through Central Park every morning. The only thing that Hubby fears is American coffee. I know some Aussie's reading this are nodding their head in agreement now. Sorry America, there's one thing that you don't do very well. Cawwfeeee. Come down under and we'll show you how it's done ;)

Can I please have some tips on a romantic getaway?

Absolutely! That tab is a work in progress. When it's finished you'll be able to find it under - 'EXPLORE' and then click on the sub heading 'STAY'.

How do you make a platter?

Here's a tutorial, in my 'EAT' tab: www.sianloves.com/single-post/2017/04/12/How-to-platter

It's so easy, once I show you the basics you'll be a platter queen!

How do you dry your flowers?

I get asked this A LOT! And it's so easy, you simply hang them upside down! I tend to dry mine out long before they start to wilt/die, because that way they tend to retain their colour.

Chain of hearts. This is one of the most common questions I get!

I got it when I was visiting my bestie, who lives in Noosa, and I've never seen them anywhere since then! And that was almost 2 years ago now. There was only one at the nursery, and it reminded me of my Nan, so I had to have it. Since then I've created about 8 of these plants just by trimming the ends! This beauty reaches the floor now, so when it's time for a trim, I just find a used candle or any empty vessel I can get my hands on, fill it with soil, and place the cutting in it. They grow like crazy and enjoy being neglected, which works out well, because I tend to forget about them!

What is that plant called, and where can I get one?
