This charming roadside stall doesn't grab your attention when you're driving down this country road, but what lies beneath the humble driveway is simply breathtaking.
I visited the Farm + Co on a beautiful hot, sunny Sunday morning and was greeted by a lovely lady named Libby. Hold on a second, I'm fibbing. I was actually greeted by a cat! Said cat was curled up right next to the organic nuts... And of course, me being me, I had to pat said cat. Spent a few minutes (maybe 10) patting/talking to the cat, then finally went in and started filling my market bag with organic goodies while I chatted to Libby. I leave with 2 bags full for under $20! Including a dozen farm fresh eggs (they also have chickens). Happy days.
As I'm leaving, the sunflower fields catch my eye, and I simply cannot leave without a bit of a frolick! These fields have to be seen to be believed. Some of them stretch as far as the eye can see. Walking amongst these fields was truly breath taking. And so good for the soul. One cannot be unhappy when walking through a sea of sunflowers. They also sell these at the produce stall, by the stem! Which I thought was the cutest thing ever. I'll take one giant sunflower please! How perfect.
I hope you enjoy The Farm + Co as much as I did.
(Ps - mention this blog post and the good people of the Farm + Co will give you 2 free sunflowers with every purchase of $15 or more in their farm stall!)
