One of my favourite chocolate chip cookie recipes!
April 3, 2017
I had to put 'one of my' in the heading for this recipe, because I do have 3 recipes that I love, all different, but all amazing. Cookies are my thannnnggg. Cookies and brownies. So I know a good recipe when I see one. I've shared this recipe with some close friends and family and whenever I send them the link they're always a bit surprised by the picture of the cookies. They don't really look that exciting! The photo definitely doesn't do them any justice. But trust me, they're delicious! If you've been following me on instagram for a while, you're probably tired of me saying this, but with cookies, ALWAYS always always take them out of the oven a minute before you think they're done! Let them get a teeny tiny bit golden on the edges, but always remember they'll continue to cook on the tray when you take them out of the oven. I have zero tolerance for a hard, dry cookie. I'd rather eat a big bunch of raw kale. Homemade cookies should always be chewy, soft and delicious!
Now, in this recipe they use walnuts (which are amazing by the way). However, if you're making these for kids, or anyone with allergies, just swap the walnuts for more chocolate chips. It's a win win! I use 3 types of chocolate chips; milk, dark and white chocolate. Give it a go, trust me.
Anyway, I think that's all the tips I have for this recipe. It's super quick and easy, and a recipe you can use for many years to come.
