Of COURSE we want chocolate for Easter! But that's not all we want ;)
So I've put together a list of my favourite things, from brands that I love, which I got for the girls in my life this Easter... I'm also very happy to say that all of these brands are local! So, if you're on the Gold Coast/Northern NSW, these items are all from local Boss Ladies doing their thing. I love to support small businesses, and especially locals. And especially Women! ;)
Firstly, candles... 'I've got too many candles', said NO woman ever! Here's one that I absolutely love at the moment. The 100% soy wax mango and black tea candle by Indie & Beau. This scent reminds me of the smell of Fiji... I'm not sure why, but I think of flowers, balmy air and the ocean when I smell this baby. Can't get enough! A close second is French Pear. It's such a happy, fruity smell. Try burning both at the same time and you're in a for a treat!
Next, we have (and I'm so excited to share this with you) Salted Caramel Spray by Sea & Stone Designs
This smells so delicious, you can almost taste it, if that makes sense! I've been spraying this on my sheets in the afternoon sun, and when I return to my bedroom later night, the smell is just so inviting. I love it for spraying on my parcels too, just before wrapping so the scent is locked in there, and when the receiver opens the parcel, immediately they're hit with salted caramel goodness.
And, what better to put your Easter gifts in, than an African Bolga basket from The Love Tribe! I use mine everyday to collect fruit from our fruit trees in the backyard. They're just so cute! Hand-woven from the elephant grass which grows in the rich flood plains of the White Volta near the village of Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana. Equipped with durable leather handles they’re perfect for shopping, in the garden, around the home or just sitting pretty.
Next we have these gorgeous hand crafted tiger cowrie shell spoons from Au Fait Living
I just knew I had to have these when I saw them! I cannot wait to eat my next smoothie bowl with one of these babies. I always eat my smoothie bowls using coconut bowls, so to combine that with these cowrie shell spoons, I'm going to feel like I'm on a tropical island! ;)
I've already found a coveted spot on my display shelves for these, because they're just so lovely they need to be displayed when not in use...
And last, but definitely not least... Flowers! I added little touches of flowers to the baskets to finish them off. I had something specific in mind, and I needed them delivered to my door because I've been so busy! And that's where Flower Haul came in. It's been so lovely to watch this local business grow and bloom (no pun intended!). Now delivering from Sydney to Mackay and most places in between, they've got you covered! They specialise in simple, natural market bunches based on what’s fresh and in season at the flower markets, including classic favourites that are available all-year-round and seasonal stems.
I hope that helps you with ideas this Easter, and if you're a hubby/boyfriend etc and your girl has directed you here, well done for reading the whole thing! And feel free to message me if you need any tips!
