I had a sneaking suspicion when I filmed this on my insta story that I would get a lot of requests for the recipe, and I was right! I love recipes like this for the Autumn/Winter months. This to me, is homestyle comfort food at it's best.
I served mine up with wild rice and broccoli, and I just loved that combo. And I will say that it's one of those dishes that gains flavour in the fridge overnight, and is delicious to eat as leftovers. (Leftovers are my FAVOURITE). Leftover pasta, leftover pizza, leftover sausages from a bbq, leftover roast (I'm talking a lamb sandwich on fresh bread with gravy... YUM.) Leftover take away thai... You get the idea. (Now I'm hungry).
So thank you to Judith, the creator of this recipe, I have a feeling I'll be making this for many years to come, at Hubby's request.
I hope you all enjoy!
Ps - here's a little video of my insta stories from the night I made this dish. Totally amateurish, but it's just there to help you along the way!
